| First run back in st george and it was 105 degrees! I am so happy not to run around a track for miles but its werid because it goes by alot faster on the track. Really missin all my friends and gha and my running buddy kendal! This experiece is one that i will never forget! now im ready to become a better person and runner and help the team do amazing things!

| I love this team so much!!! Today was my first time back with the guys and it was the long run for the week! I was really bummed tho as we got towards 28 min a bunch of good guys flipped and I dont understand why. We got back at exactly 75 min (which was level 2 min) so they would have been good but they decided to flip early. Sorry for complaing but that really bothered me. Ran top level 3 minutes today and it felt really good! Tired towards the end but thats what a long run will do to you.

| Man I love running with xander and josh! We went to mitchels house and said goodbye to him which was really sad because ill probs not see him ever again. Everyone is leaving I realized.. But thats life I guess! I keep tearing up whenever I think about xander leaving, I really love that guy! I noticed I need new shoes so probably gonna get the same shoe becuase they feel way nice

| Good chiil run with the boys! felt really slow and alittle sore from monday but hey what are you gonna do! Went to prospector today which is one of my favorite runes! But I was way out of it because of thoughts. Been thinking alot about my life and kinda stressing about it. But I got to just get over myself and run!

| Hill work out today and most of the guys killed it! I am starting to welcome the pain alot more now and towards the last one I asked for it! Really excited to see how this tactic works in racing and I cant wait to show region 9 what im made of! Talking alot to some of the lower level 2 guys and really trying to motivate them and I think its working and we got some of them with us in the hill workout!

| You could say it was an early morning for me! I started my run at 4:15am because they needed me at work at 6 so I had to go running before that because I knew i wasn't gonna be motivated to do it after. The run was way sketch because it was so dark and every noice I heard I thought someone was gonna attack me which was every 30 seconds haha. But it was a good run and I hit every hill I could!

| Hurricane rim trail with the boys this amazing morning! Just another really awesome run with the feeling of being in shape! Really gonne miss these guys because of scout camp this upcoming week! But dont worry I am more motivated to get my runs in then I have ever been!

| Longest run of the summer so far! I felt so fresh 40 minutes in and I was so ready for some epic pick ups! Most of the pick ups were on hills and tbh I love hills. Was able to be in the top couple guys on every pick up besides the one I tried helping Evan to stay in the pack! But he was having a bad run but still pushed himself pretty good! TANNER IS SUCH A BEAST!! I can't express how happy I was to see him on the side of carson coming up the big hill at snow canyon! I was alittle surprised but thrilled non the less! My last couple of miles really hurt and I fell off from alex and carson but did my own pick up (which really pushed my limits) but caught up to them. Runs like this is what makes a great runner!

| we had a triatholon and I ran a 3:58 .75 mile race! it was way fun but I started 40 seconds behind the leader and almost got him at the end but it wasnt a distance race.. ended up second.

| Pain and disapointment. That was the definition of todays run. I can't have runs like this if I want to acomplish great things. As we ran up this killer hill it hit me, and the mental negative thoughts that I have been holding in for the past couple weeks. This really hit me and for the first time I wasn't able to fight back. I gave up.
I have been really soul searching the past couple of weeks just to find out who I am and started to read a book called "Mans search for meaning". This man went to mutiple concetration camps and went through heck and back. I have really been looking at my life and have been wondering what I can do to fight through and be as strong as him. The hardest thing for me that I need to overcome is the pressure of life and the pain I face daily with running. The mental pain is always gonna be there so its how I deal with it for now on. This was the last crappy run of the season!

Woke up earlier this morning to get my run in because I have a leadership camp at dixie and yesterday I didn't have time to even eat breakfast! Im learning so much from this camp and i'm gonna make a change to my team. Positivity is key to everything and thats one thing I know are team is missing. Xander is leaving in a couple days and he was a huge postive beam of light my team needed but with him gone I can already feel the light going away. I'm really gonna miss the encoragement and friendliness that xander brought.
